In Which Toby Has A Very Important Announcement / Monday, March 19, 2007

Just quickly while he's getting prepared I'll tell you some other stuff. Ash and I went away for our wedding anniversary. We spent the weekend to St. Francisville and we stayed in a plantation house, it was very relaxing, we had a couple of fancy schmanzy meals and just relaxed really. It was good to have some adult time for a whole two days, but it's also great to come home and see Toby.

Toby isn't talking or listening as much as he should be so he's going to get speech therapy. He's developing alright in every other way though.

Anyhow, it's time for Toby's Very Big Announcement:

Not yet, but sometime in November if there's no problems. So there you go. Nothing else in my life over here is really important right now is it?

We're both very happy. I'm less worried this time round than I was with Toby and maybe a tad less excited, because it's not so much of an unknown. I know what it's like to be a Daddy so I don't have to worry about me at least, I just have to worry about Ash and the little thing she's transporting about (and of course juggling them with Toby - that's a different challenge!) So I'm actually happier this time round than I was with Toby because I'm not as clouded with uncertainties. I know being a dad is great so being a dad of two is even better right? Hey shh... let me kid myself!

Hopefully Ash's post-partum depression shouldn't be so much of a problem this time around as she has a shrink working with her already so it should be controlled better.

Alright, well that's it. Cheerio!
